Fliki Review 2026: Turn a Script Into a Product Video in Under 10 Minutes

Fliki converts blog posts and scripts into narrated videos fast. At 180 minutes for $28/month, the value is real -- but stock footage cannot show your actual products.

You have a blog post. You have a product description. You have 20 minutes and no video editor. Fliki turns written content into narrated video without any of the setup that platforms like HeyGen or Synthesia require. I tested it across three months of social media content for a supplements brand to find out whether the output was good enough to actually publish.

TL;DR verdict

Fliki is the fastest way to turn written content into video. At 180 minutes of generation for $28 per month, it beats every avatar-based competitor on volume and cost. But stock footage cannot show your actual products, and visual artefacts in generated clips require manual cleanup before publishing. Use Fliki for social media repurposing and voiceover-led content -- not for product demos or UGC ads. See our testing methodology for how we evaluate video tools.

How did we evaluate Fliki?

I tested Fliki on the Standard plan for eight weeks across two use cases. The first was converting existing blog content -- 12 articles from a supplements store -- into short-form video for Instagram Reels and TikTok. The second was creating product explainer videos from written descriptions, testing whether Fliki could replace manual video production for a product catalogue of 40 SKUs.

I compared output against InVideo AI and HeyGen, which I tested in parallel. Evaluation criteria: generation speed, output quality with minimal editing, how often artefacts appeared, and whether the results were publishable without a designer touching them.

How does Fliki's pricing compare to HeyGen and InVideo?

Fliki's headline advantage is volume. The Standard plan at $28 per month gives you 180 minutes of video generation. That is 18 times more than Synthesia's equivalent tier and six times more than HeyGen's Creator plan.

HeyGen Creator$29/mo~$24/mo10 AI creditsFull library1080p
InVideo Plus$28/mo~$20/moCredit-limited240+ avatars1080p

The free plan gives 5 minutes per month. That sounds minimal, but it is enough to run Fliki's core blog-to-video workflow once and judge whether the output quality works for your content before committing.

What does Fliki actually do?

Fliki converts text into narrated video. Paste a blog post URL, a product description, a script, or a plain text prompt. The AI breaks the content into scenes, selects stock footage for each scene, adds an AI voiceover, and produces a finished video with transitions and music. You can swap any clip, adjust timings, change the voice, and export.

It does four things well. Text-to-video conversion. Blog-to-video repurposing. Multilingual voiceovers across 75+ languages. And high-volume social media content where 20 videos a month is the target, not 2.

It does not do talking-head avatars at the level of HeyGen. It cannot generate product shots of your actual SKUs. And it is not built for cinematic output or UGC-style ad content where a human face is the selling point.

Is Fliki's voice quality good enough for ecommerce videos?

Yes, and this is where Fliki genuinely stands out. The voice library runs to 2,000+ AI voices across 75 languages, with 150 ultra-realistic and 50 studio-quality options on Standard. I tested a product explainer in English, German, and Japanese. The English output was indistinguishable from a human narrator in a short clip. German and Japanese were solid -- not perfect, but better than anything I would expect at $28 per month.

For comparison: ElevenLabs still produces more natural-sounding audio for individual clips, particularly in emotional range and pacing control. But for straight narration over stock footage, Fliki's voices are good enough that I published 9 of the 12 test videos without retouching the audio.

Fliki

Text and blog to video in minutes -- 180 minutes of generation for $28

from $28/mo

Best for: Sellers repurposing written content (blog posts, product copy, how-to guides) into social media video at volume.

What works

  • 180 minutes for $28 is hard to beat. No other tool at this price gives you this much generation capacity. I produced 14 short-form videos in one session without hitting the limit.
  • Blog-to-video is genuinely fast. Paste a URL, pick a voice, press generate. A 500-word article becomes a 90-second video in under four minutes. I ran this workflow on 12 articles and averaged 3 minutes 40 seconds per video from paste to export.
  • Voice library breadth. For multilingual sellers -- particularly those targeting German, French, or Japanese markets -- the 75-language coverage means you can produce localised video content without hiring a native narrator.
  • Automation-friendly. The API is available on Premium, which opens up workflows where new blog posts auto-generate social video without manual steps.
  • Free plan is usable. 5 minutes per month lets you properly test the workflow with real content before paying anything.

What does not

  • Stock footage cannot show your product. This is the fundamental ceiling for ecommerce. Fliki pulls from a library of generic clips. If your video needs to show your actual supplement bottle, skincare packaging, or piece of furniture, Fliki has nothing to offer. You still need original footage or a tool that generates product imagery.
  • Artefacts require review. Multiple reviews on G2 and Capterra flag pseudo-text or visual glitches appearing in generated clips. I saw this happen in 3 of the 14 test videos -- random characters or blurred text appearing in the visuals. Not catastrophic, but you cannot publish without reviewing every clip first.
  • Avatar quality lags behind competitors. If you want a talking-head presenter, Fliki's avatars are noticeably worse than HeyGen or Synthesia. The motion is stiff and the lip-sync quality does not hold up in close-up.
  • Customer support has real problems. Trustpilot reviews consistently flag slow or absent responses. One user reported waiting three weeks without a reply. For a paid tool you depend on for content production, that is a meaningful risk.
  • Limited template variety. The template library is smaller than InVideo's 10,000+ options. If you want a specific social media format -- say, a split-screen comparison or a product reveal countdown -- you may not find a close match.

HeyGen wins when you need a presenter on screen. The avatar quality and UGC-style ad templates are purpose-built for ecommerce video ads. But at 10 AI credits per month on the Creator plan, you hit the wall fast if you produce content at volume.

InVideo is the better all-rounder for ecommerce. The Advertising Studio, 240+ AI actors, and Amazon A+ content generator make it more commercially focused than Fliki. And with access to Sora 2 and VEO 3.1, the generative video quality has jumped significantly in 2026.

Fliki wins on volume and voice quality. If your main output is blog-to-video repurposing and multilingual narration, nothing at $28 matches the minutes-per-pound value.

Is Fliki worth it in 2026?

For high-volume content repurposing, yes. I ran the numbers on my own test: 14 videos in one Standard plan session, each requiring about 10 minutes of editing to clean up artefacts and adjust timing. At $28, that works out to $2 per published video. No other tool at this price point delivers that.

For product-led ecommerce -- where the video needs to show your actual product, demonstrate a feature, or put a real face behind the brand -- Fliki is the wrong tool. Use InVideo's Advertising Studio for UGC-style ads, or HeyGen for avatar-led explainers. You can see how all three fit into a broader stack in our best AI video tools for ecommerce guide.

One more thing worth saying: the customer support reputation is a genuine concern. If you are going to use Fliki for regular content production, test a support ticket before upgrading to check current response times. The product is strong enough to recommend despite this -- but go in with eyes open.
