title: "FastMoss Review 2026: TikTok Shop Analytics and Creator Outreach Tested" excerpt: "FastMoss tested across product research, creator discovery, LIVE monitoring, and competitor tracking -- who it is actually for, where it falls short, and how it compares to Kalodata." date: 2026-08-19 author: Mark Dunne category: Guides relatedTools: ["fastmoss", "kalodata"]
Finding creators for TikTok Shop is either a grind or a gamble. You can scroll TikTok for hours identifying people who might promote your products, send cold DMs one by one, and never know if someone's 400K followers actually buy anything. FastMoss exists to solve that problem. I spent four weeks testing it across two brands to find out if it does.
TL;DR verdict
FastMoss is the most widely-used TikTok Shop analytics tool for a reason -- the creator database is massive, the LIVE session tracking is genuinely useful, and the bulk contact export saves hours of manual outreach. But 90-day data limits and a functional-rather-than-beautiful interface mean it suits active TikTok Shop operators more than researchers. If creator outreach is the priority, FastMoss edges Kalodata on volume. If deep data analysis is the priority, Kalodata goes further. See how we test analytics tools.
How did we evaluate FastMoss?
I tested FastMoss on the Pro plan over four weeks in July and August 2026 across two product categories: a pet accessories brand and a home kitchen brand. My evaluation covered product trend spotting (comparing FastMoss "trending" tags against actual TikTok Shop bestseller lists over two weeks), creator discovery and contact quality (exporting 200 creator contacts across both niches and checking deliverability), LIVE session monitoring (tracking 15 competitor live streams over 10 days), and competitor shop tracking. Where relevant, I compare against Kalodata, which I tested in parallel.
What does FastMoss actually do?
FastMoss is a TikTok Shop intelligence platform covering four main areas: product research, creator discovery, competitor tracking, and LIVE stream monitoring. It indexes data for more than 50 million TikTok Shop products and over 3.2 million active users worldwide rely on it for sourcing and outreach decisions.
The product research module shows trending items by category, estimated GMV, and creator promotion volume. The creator discovery module lets you search a database of millions of TikTok creators by follower count, category, commission rate, and recent sales performance. The LIVE module tracks competitor streams in real time. Competitor tracking lets you monitor rival shops' estimated sales volume and video performance on a daily basis.
It does not connect to Shopify, Amazon, or any other marketplace. TikTok Shop is the only data source.
How does FastMoss pricing work?
FastMoss pricing starts at roughly $49 per month for Basic, with Pro at approximately $99 per month and a Team plan for agencies managing multiple brands. Annual plans cut the cost by up to 40% -- around $558 per year for Pro on a 12-month commitment. A 7-day free trial is available with no credit card required on sign-up.
| Plan | Monthly price | Creator contacts/day | Video monitor credits/month | Sub-accounts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | ~$49/mo | 300 (with export) | 10 | 1 |
| Pro | ~$99/mo | 6,000 (with export) | 200 | 3 |
| Team | Custom | 6,000+ | 600 | 7 |
| Enterprise | Custom | API access | Unlimited | Custom |
The step from Basic to Pro is significant. Six thousand creator contact exports per day versus 300 is not a marginal difference -- it is the difference between useful outreach at scale and a tool that runs out before you have finished prospecting a single category.
Best for: TikTok Shop sellers and brands who need creator outreach at volume, competitor LIVE monitoring, and daily product trend data.
How does FastMoss product research work?
FastMoss product research shows you what is selling on TikTok Shop right now -- trending items by category, estimated revenue, number of creators promoting each product, and average commission rates. The "Hot Products" feed updates daily and can be filtered by category, price range, and commission percentage.
I ran a side-by-side check over two weeks: I picked 10 products FastMoss flagged as trending and tracked their actual TikTok Shop bestseller ranking. Eight of the 10 showed genuine upward movement. Two had already peaked and were declining when FastMoss still showed them in the trending list. That lag is consistent with what I found in the Kalodata review -- these tools identify momentum, not peaks. Do not use either to time an exact entry.
What works
- Filtering by commission rate is genuinely useful. You can surface products where creators are earning 15%+ commissions -- a signal that brands are actively investing in affiliate growth
- Category-level trending data updates quickly. I saw products appear in the trending feed within 24-48 hours of genuine GMV spikes
- The "Shop Analytics" view shows estimated daily GMV per competitor shop, which helps you gauge category size before committing inventory
What does not
- 90 days of historical data is a hard ceiling. Compare that to Kalodata's 500-day window -- if you want to see whether a product category is genuinely growing or just seasonal, FastMoss does not have enough depth
- Trending product estimates skew optimistic. I cross-checked 20 products against seller forum reports and found GMV estimates ran roughly 15-20% above what sellers self-reported -- not egregious, but worth discounting
How does creator discovery and outreach work?
Creator discovery is where FastMoss clearly leads in the market. You search by niche, follower range, average views, recent sales, and commission preference, then export contact details directly to CSV. On the Pro plan, you can export up to 6,000 contacts per day.
I exported 200 creator contacts in the pet accessories category. Of those, 163 had valid email addresses, 11 had only TikTok DM as contact, and 26 had no usable contact info at all. That 82% deliverability rate on email is decent -- better than I expected going in.
The catch is quality. A large share of the contacts I exported were creators with between 5,000 and 20,000 followers who had promoted pet products once, six months ago. FastMoss does not distinguish between a creator who actively runs affiliate campaigns versus one who promoted a product once for a friend's brand. You need to filter aggressively. I recommend layering filters: minimum 50K followers, at least three promoted products in the last 60 days, and a minimum average view count that aligns with your target CPM.
What works
- Bulk export is the standout feature. Exporting 500+ creators in under 10 minutes would take days of manual research by hand
- Commission rate data per creator helps you prioritise who is worth approaching first. Creators accepting lower commissions in your category signal less competition for their partnership
- The "Creator Monitor" feature lets you save up to 200 creators and get notified when they post new videos or start a LIVE session
What does not
- Contact quality on lower-follower creators drops sharply. Below 10K followers, the contact database becomes unreliable
- There is no built-in outreach tool, CRM, or email sequencing. FastMoss hands you a spreadsheet; you build the outreach workflow yourself. For that part, something like Blotato handles scheduling and posting after the collaboration is agreed
- Creator performance history is limited to TikTok Shop affiliate activity only. A creator with 2M followers primarily known for organic content will show low sales data even if they convert well on sponsored posts
How does FastMoss LIVE session monitoring work?
The LIVE module is one of FastMoss's genuinely differentiated features. It tracks competitor live stream sessions in real time -- showing how long they ran, estimated sales per session, top-selling products, peak viewer count, and the scripts or callouts that drove spikes in orders.
I monitored 15 competitor live sessions across two categories over 10 days. Three things stood out. First, the timing data is accurate -- I cross-checked three sessions against publicly available TikTok metrics and the session lengths matched within two minutes. Second, the peak viewer data correlates with discount moments -- you can see exactly when a "flash sale" callout happened in a competitor's stream by watching the viewer curve. Third, estimated GMV per session runs wide. One session FastMoss estimated at $14,000 was self-reported by the seller on a forum at $9,500. The directional data is right; the specific number is not reliable.
For brands running their own LIVE content, the "LIVE Rankings" feature shows which live streams in your category are performing best right now. Useful for benchmarking your own session performance.
How does FastMoss competitor tracking compare to Kalodata?
Both FastMoss and Kalodata offer competitor shop tracking, but they differ on depth versus breadth. FastMoss gives you daily estimated GMV updates across a wider range of shops and lets you monitor more competitors simultaneously on its Pro plan. Kalodata goes deeper on each competitor -- 500 days of historical data versus 90, plus more granular video attribution showing which specific videos drove sales spikes.
For ongoing competitor surveillance -- checking whether a rival shop is growing or shrinking week on week -- FastMoss is perfectly adequate and easier to navigate. For a deep-dive analysis before entering a new category, Kalodata's historical depth is more useful. I used both tools during my testing period and found myself defaulting to FastMoss for daily monitoring and Kalodata for strategic reviews.
