What Does Create My Store AI Do?
Create My Store AI (createmystore.ai) is an AI Shopify store builder made by Vitals, the company behind the all-in-one conversion app. That relationship is not hidden: the site footer says "powered by Vitals", the getting-started article lives on help.vitals.app, and Vitals' own homepage links to it as the route for merchants without a store yet. In practice it is a front door that turns a blank Shopify account into a Vitals subscriber.
The flow, per Vitals' August 2026 guide, is eight steps. You choose a niche from eight categories (fashion, electronics, pets, beauty, sport and fitness, kids and toys, home and garden, or other), pick a theme colour and hero banner, create a Shopify account with billing details, approve the Vitals app install and plan, then choose products. Product choice is where it gets interesting: you can accept eight AI-recommended "winning products", paste AliExpress or Amazon links, or import from an existing Shopify catalogue. The generator then writes titles, descriptions and SEO metadata, sets up bundle offers, loads reviews, configures the Vitals apps and hands you a password-protected preview. Vitals claims about four minutes from clicking Generate to a finished storefront.
There is also an option to redesign an existing Shopify store rather than start from scratch, and existing Vitals users get the same AI product page generator inside the app. What you end up with is a normal Shopify store you fully own, with no commission taken.

Works wellVitals' own guide claims about four minutes and warns you not to close the tab, refreshing if it runs past ten. Third-party round-ups repeat the four-minute figure without contradicting it. I have not timed it myself yet.
AI product selection
Needs workThe default is eight AI-selected "winning products" from AliExpress by niche. That is a dropshipping starter kit, and there is no sign in the documentation that the picks are validated against anything beyond trend data. Anyone with real products should skip this step and import their own.
AI copy and SEO metadata
AcceptableTitles, descriptions and meta tags are generated per product in the same engine as Vitals' AI Page Builder, which supports eleven languages. Ecommerce Fastlane's verdict is that the output is a strong starting point that still needs your brand layer, and that is the sensible expectation.

It nudges beginners towards commodity dropshipping
The niche picker, the AliExpress import and the "winning products" framing all point the same way. That is the hardest possible business to make money in, and a four-minute store does not change the maths.
"Free" hides two subscriptions
The build is free. Running the result costs Shopify's plan plus $29.99 a month for Vitals, plus Vitals' 2026 usage charges as you grow. The site is upfront about the trials but the running cost deserves a bigger font.
No independent track record yet
The 4.9-star, 2,568-review figure quoted on the site is Vitals' App Store rating, not a rating of the store builder. Every 2026 review I found either repeats the vendor's copy or is published by Vitals itself, and I could not find a substantive Reddit thread from someone who launched with it.

Agencies or side-hustlers spinning up test stores
Four minutes to a themed, populated store is useful for validating a niche or mocking up a client concept, as long as you do not mistake the mockup for a business.
